The most important reason for wearing sunscreen is the fact that it protects against all three of the most common skin cancers. Sunscreen also protects your skin from ageing, skin sagging and pigmentation. It is recommended in general to apply sun screen every day of the year as well as to wear a protective gear if spending a lot of time under the sun. It is also recommended to apply a minimum of SPF30, broad spectrum, water resistant sunscreen everyday. Note that in case your skin is sensitive, it is advised to wear physical sunscreen since chemical sunscreens may irritate your skin.
